Heavenly Father, may Speaker John Boehner and My Neighbor, if they are believers, and I allow the Holy Spirit to give us both the desire and power to sincerely love others, and not a feeling of obligation or guilt. Phil. 2:13

Special Prayer Request for Today

Pray the Lord will move in the US Supreme Court Justices to uphold the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman in their upcoming rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act and California’s Prop 8. Also, ask your pastor to encourage prayer.

Why pray for your neighbors?
In 1 Timothy 2 Paul urges prayers for everyone and those in authority. Everyone includes our neighbors, and in Romans 13, God ordained in this country through the Constitution that "We the people" have the highest level of governmental authority.

"We the people" have the highest level of governmental authority with the power to elect our public servants, as well as the power to vote them out of office!
